Meet the Owner, Amanda

I started working professionally with dogs in 2007 in boarding, daycare, and grooming environments. I have been active in training using positive reinforcement techniques with dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments since 2012. Along the way I have also cared for cats, small house pets, livestock and wildlife. I started Kit N Caboodle in 2013, to serve clients on a more individual level, where their personalities can really shine. Animals truly are my passion and I enjoy spending each day with our furry family members.

I proudly embrace my status as a crazy dog lady with my four girls. Lumos, my first Ibizan Hound, is quick-witted and undoubtedly smarter than I’ll ever be. Rio, our people-shy and reactive yet endlessly vibrant rescued Lab mix, keeps life interesting. Nox, another Ibizan Hound, ensures there’s never a dull moment with her constant energy and playfulness. And finally, our newest little addition, Nimbus, rounds out the pack.

My journey with dogs began in 2005 with Scout, my sweet Beagle who first sparked my love for training. She has since crossed the rainbow bridge, alongside Indie, the dopey yet lovable yellow Labrador who taught me invaluable lessons in patience. Their legacy lives on in the love and chaos of my current pack.
